Gold Sheen Obsidian

Gold Sheen Obsidian is brown or black colored Obsidian that reflects a golden sheen on its surface as a result of gas bubbles being trapped in between its layers as the molten lava began to cool while the Obsidian was forming.

It has a bright energy, very different than pure black Obsidian.  It is an empowering stone, yet one that also helps us to keep our ego in check so that it doesn’t dominate our consciousness or control our actions.

It attunes us to the energy of the Great Central Sun through its cleansing and activation of the Solar Plexus chakra, source of manifestation.

By stimulating the Solar plexus, it can assist us to reclaim our personal power and aligned with Divine Will, become co creators with the Universe to manifest what is best for the Higher Good.

It’s an excellent stone to clear all aspects of power abuse from our energetic system. 

This stone, like other varieties of obsidian is good for clearing negative energies, purifying our auric field and grounding.
